Throughout my career, I’ve worked with a range of platforms, and while many of them have
had great qualities, there were always limitations. Depth of feature control often fell short. Development roadmaps felt distant and detached from the needs of operators who were the lifeblood of the business. The pace of change sometimes seemed sluggish, with new features arriving only after months or even years. And while some platforms had impressive
designs, they rarely delivered the balance of user-first experiences for both the front desk
and end consumers that operators need.
Clava, however, is built differently. It’s a platform that stands out for all the right reasons.
Here are some of the key factors that inspired me to take on this role:
Feature Control and Operator Involvement
At Clava, operators aren’t just customers; they’re partners. The ability for operators to
tangibly impact our development roadmap is something I haven’t seen executed so
effectively anywhere else. When operators speak, Clava listens, and that feedback directly
shapes the platform’s evolution. It’s a dynamic, two-way relationship that delivers real
results.
Relentless Pace of Development
Clava’s speed of innovation is breathtaking. The platform is constantly evolving, with new
features and updates rolling out at a pace that’s both thrilling and, at times, even a little
frightening (in the best possible way). This commitment to rapid development ensures that
Clava not only keeps up with industry trends but often leads them.
User-First Design
One of the things that drew me to Clava was its unwavering focus on the people who use it
every day. From owners and managers to front desk teams and end consumers, Clava’s
design philosophy prioritizes usability, efficiency, and satisfaction. It’s a platform built for
real-world application, not just for show.
Operational Efficiencies and Reliability
In today’s fast-paced environments, operational efficiency is critical. Clava’s combination of
reliability, speed, and seamless performance delivers significant time and cost savings.
Operators can focus on what they do best—serving their communities and customers—and
hopefully spend more time climbing, training, or doing what they love.
UK-Based Team and Support
Finally, Clava’s commitment to being a truly UK-based company with local support is a
game-changer. Knowing there’s a team that understands the unique challenges of our
market and is ready to respond with agility and insight is invaluable.
Joining Clava is about more than just working with an exceptional platform; it’s about being
part of a movement that’s redefining what’s possible in our industry. The passion, talent, and
dedication of the team here are unmatched, and I’m eager to help drive our vision forward.
As we look to the future, I’m excited about continuing to push boundaries, listening to our
operators, and delivering a platform that sets new standards. Thank you for welcoming me to
the Clava community—I can’t wait to see what we achieve together.
